Boko Haram infiltrates mechanic workshops – NATA

The National Automobile Technicians Association has called on its members to be at alert because members of the Boko Haram insurgents have found their way into mechanic workshops to perpetuate their evil deeds.

The organisation also said many of its members had been arrested over increasing cases of car theft and other heinous crimes.

The President of NATA, Chief Michael Ajayi, spoke with journalists on Thursday evening in Abuja during a one-day security enlightenment summit it jointly organised with the Absolute Security and Consultancy Services Limited.

Reports from Yola says about 10 person may have died in an explosion that hit a major market in Yola, Adamawa State this evening, Thursday, June 4.

According to an eyewitness, the incident occurred around 7:30pm at the Jimeta main market.

US Police Have Already Killed Nearly 400 People Nationwide This Year (Read Stats Report)

It will shock you to note that between January and May this year, US Police has account for a 400 death. According to the Washington Post, police have shot and killed at least 385 people so far this year and half the victims were white and half minority but however, two-thirds of unarmed victims were black or Hispanic. Nearly a quarter of the victims were identified as suffering from a mental illness.

Deadly police shootings have occurred at nearly twice the rate accounted for by the federal government over the past decade, and the tally is still considered to be unrepresentative. The Washington Post is compiling a database to track all fatal police shootings.

Another Thousands of migrants rescued in the Mediterranean sea

According to a new report from Al Jazeera. more than 5,000 migrants on their way to Europe have been saved from boats in distress in the Mediterranean since Friday, according to EU authorities, as the corpses of 17 migrants have been brought ashore in Sicily aboard an Italian naval vessel.

In some of the most intense Mediterranean traffic of the year, migrants who left Libya in 25 boats were picked up by ships from Italy, Britain, Malta and Belgium, assisted by planes from Iceland and Finland, the EU's border control agency Frontex said.
