Arsenal forward, Alexis Sanchez might just be concluding plans on leaving as team-mates has side Arsene Wenger's recent decision about the Chilean.
According to UK Mirror, the Chilean striker, who has been at the centre of controversy for the past week, is upsetting the Gunners dressing room and is being given a wide berth by his team-mates.
Sanchez’s attitude is being called into question and it has now reached the point where Arsenal’s players are lining-up squarely behind boss Arsene Wenger.
A dressing-room source said: “Alexis is being moody and disruptive and it’s getting to the rest of the squad.’’
The stand-off is similar to the problems caused at West Ham earlier this season by Dimitri Payet. The France international was called out publicly by Hammers boss Slaven Bilic and criticised for his behaviour.
Ironically, that galvanised the Croatian boss’s squad and potentially saved West Ham from a relegation scrap.
Wenger has stopped short of questioning Sanchez, who scored Arsenal’s fourth goal against Lincoln yesterday, as the player chases a new £250,000-a-week deal.
But the situation is threatening to reach the point of no return for him unless he comes back into the fold – and sharpish.
Wenger left Sanchez out of his line-up at Liverpool and took him off during the five-goal thumping by Bayern Munich in midweek.
