Following the jail break at the Kuje Medium prisons last Friday June 24th in which two inmates escaped, the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Prison Service, Ahmed Jafa’aru, has ordered the removal of the officer in-charge of Kuje prison, Musa Tanko, and also instituted a probe panel over the matter. The two inmates Maxwell Ajukwu and Solomon Amodu, were standing trial for murder and escaped from the facility by scaling the fence. They are currently at large.
