South African football has lost a ace footballer. Richard Henyekane died in the early hours of Tuesday April 7th.
Daily Sun
reports that Henyekane was travelling from a party in Qwa-Qwa at about
1am in a VW Cross Polo with friends and a teammate in two separate cars
when he met his sudden death.
The two cars stopped at the side of
the road and the passengers got out for a pee and, according to the
paper, Henyekane got back into the car but his team member at Ea Lla
Koto, Bokang Hlone, said he would rather go in the other car.

“Bokang had no way of knowing, but he was making a life-and-death decision,” according to the paper.
“Only a few kilometres later, the car with Richard “Kimberley Express” Henyekane in it, smashed into a truck at high speed and burst into flames. Richard and the other four passengers died on impactJust five months ago, Richard's younger brother Joseph Henyekane, also a professional footballer, died in December 2014. He was just 30 years old.
