A senior al-Qaeda figure responsible for raising millions for the terrorist group and recruiting 3,000 child soldiers to fight in Syria has celebrated Donald Trump's election win. Abdallah al-Muhaysini is a prominent member of the al-Nusrah Front's inner leadership circle, which is al-Qaeda's group in Syria.

In a series of tweets, translated by SITE Intelligence Group, al-Muhaysini called Trump's election win an 'important step' for the terror group.

Three female suicide bombers who were trying to attack Maiduguri were intercepted by gallant soldiers this morning in Borno state. 

The soldiers who were on guard at Umarari-Molai outskirts of Maiduguri said they identified the attackers at about 5 am while trying to gain access to Maiduguri; one was shot and wounded while two others immediately detonated IEDs wrapped around their bodies.

A local security team, Igbogene Vigilance Community, Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, arrested a father of two for allegedly stealing a pot of soup, 12 wraps of fufu and half basin of garri flour.

The 35-year-old, who was identified as Kaduna Enatimi, was said to be an indigene of Akassa community, Brass Local Government Area of the state.

The Head of the vigilance group, Chief MoneySweet Asomo, said the suspect was nabbed at about 2am while he was consuming the stolen food at a local shop in the area.

Unknown Gunmen fire shots at James Faleke’s vehicle

House of Representatives member James Faleke escaped death after the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) conveying him from Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, to Abuja, was shot at by unknown assailants, The Nation reports.

Faleke disclosed this himself in a report he lodged at the Gwagwalada Police Division on the outskirt of the Federal Capital City (FCT).

According to the report, the lawmaker was attacked between 7pm and 7.30pm on Sunday, November 6.
