Caitlyn Jenner is officially a MAC spokesperson. The company is releasing a limited edition lipstick created by Caitlyn. The signature color will be called “Finally Free.”

Revenue from the lipstick sales will benefit the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative.

Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe days ago marked his 92nd birthday at a $1.1 million party organised by his supporters.

This party has however drawn criticism from his opponents who said the celebrations in the drought-stricken country was an affront to his countrymen. Mr Mugabe, Africa’s oldest leader, turned 92 on February 21 and thousands of his party supporters gathered to pay tribute to the country’s only leader since independence from Britain in 1980.

He has shown no intention of stepping down. Mr Mugabe, who was accompanied by his wife, Grace, and their children, released 92 balloons and sat listening to poetry readings, songs and chants by supporters hailing him as an African icon and a visionary.

Yesterday February 26th, 2016, Gianni Infantino was elected the new President of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) for the remainder of the current term of office (until 2019) by the Extraordinary FIFA Congress held in Zurich.

He was elected as the ninth FIFA President after the second ballot with 115 of 207 total votes. In line with the FIFA Statutes, the mandate of the new FIFA President started after the conclusion of the Congress.

Gianni Infantino born 23 March 1970 in Brig-Glis is a Swiss football administrator of Italian origin. He was the general secretary of UEFA from 2009 to 2016 and holds both Swiss and Italian nationality.

It is always good to remember where it all started from. Before rising to stardom, Flavour N’abania was just a little boy who played the band for his church, Church of God Mission, in Enugu.

Fast forward years later, "Ada Ada" hit singer is now a name that is associated in almost every household. EFCC commence Probe of Ooni of Ife Over N400m Forgery

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly begun the investigation of the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his company, Metropole Interproject Limited, over an alleged N400 million forgery.

A frontline human rights activist, , Comrade Adeniyi, Alimi Sulaiman, Executive Chairman, Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice (CHRSJ), whose petition led to the investigation, disclosed that he has been invited by the anti-graft agency to come and shed more light on the petition.

The petition dated Monday, 2nd November, 2015 entitled “Request for Prosecution of Prince Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his Company named Metropole Interproject Limited for the Offence of forgery, Fraudulent Conversion and Obtaining the sum of N400 million by false Pretence” was forwarded to the EFCC Chairman and received on Friday, November 6, 2015. Copies were also sent to President Muhammadu Buhari, Transparency International (TI), Embassy of the United Kingdom (UK), as well as those of the United States of America (USA) and Republic of Canada.

BREAKING! Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh resigns

Just barely a year after he took the job, Sunday Oliseh has resigned as the coach of Nigeria’s senior national team, Super Eagles.

Oliseh, who resigned in the wee hours of Friday, February 26, cited contract violations by the Nigerian Football Federation, as justification for his decision to step down.

He also cited a lack of support from the country’s football administrators, unpaid wages and benefits to his players as well as his assistant coaches, a further justification for his unexpected announcement.

 The former captain of the Super Eagles announced his resignation via his page on micro-blogging social media platform, Twitter.

Senate Declares Former Chairman of EFCC Wanted

The Senate has declared the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, wanted over his role in the N1 trillion the agency recovered from treasury looters but which reportedly disappeared from its coffers.

At its plenary session on Thursday, the Senate directed its Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions to issue a warrant of arrest on Lamorde to answer charges on how the N1 trillion disappeared from the EFCC’s custody under his watch.

The Upper House had on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, directed the Ethics Committee to investigate a petition presented before it by Senator Peter Nwaoboshi (Delta North).

Nwaoboshi had drawn the attention of the Senate to a petition by one Dr. George Uboh against Lamorde, for alleged financial crimes and corruption, and urged the Senate to probe the matter.

PHOTO: Nigerian Student including two Other African Students Die in a Fatal Crash

A Nigerian student and two other African students of Manchester University, UK, died and a fourth injured when a van driven by a man who authorities say was intoxicated struck them on Sunday, February 21.

Deangelo R. Evans is facing charges in connection with the crash. The 26-year-old from Chicago, was charged with three counts of operating while intoxicated causing death, one count of OWI resulting in serious bodily injury, and three counts of reckless homicide.

The crash happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes near mile marker 253. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, it appears that the students’ van was stopped in the median with a flat tire.

Ekiti State Governor has approve N237m car loan for workers

The Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose has approved the sum of N237m as car loan to workers in the state civil service.

According to the state  commissioner for Finance, Toyin Ojo, the grade levels of the workers were taken into consideration, during selection.

He also said the civil servants will get up to N1.5 million loan, paid in full.
